Preservation Partners In-Person Events

Beginning in 2027, NPPN is combining its traditional Spring Retreat, Historic Properties Redevelopment Programs (HPRP) Summit, Fall Convening, and National Preservation Easement Summit into a single, unified gathering held each April.

This premier annual event will bring together preservation professionals from across the country for educational programming organized around three concurrent tracks — Practical Preservation, Historic Properties Redevelopment Programs, and Preservation Easements — along with networking opportunities, site visits, and social events that advance best practices in historic preservation, organizational capacity building, preservation-based redevelopment programs, and easement stewardship.

The National Preservation Partners Network (NPPN) is currently seeking proposals from member organizations to host our inaugural 2027 National Preservation Partners Summit. In addition, NPPN is inviting member organizations interested in hosting the 2028 Preservation Partners Summit to submit a brief Letter of Interest.

Proposal for 2027 National Preservation Partners Summit Deadline: November 6, 2026

Letters of Interest for 2028 National Preservation Partners Summit Deadline: December 18, 2026

National Preservation Partners Summits are co-hosted by a different Partner organization each year, giving NPPN member hosts an opportunity to showcase successes, challenges, and progress in their communities. These gatherings are fun ways to explore new places, learn from colleagues, and gain new perspectives.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for all of our events! Learn more here.

“NPPN’s Spring Retreat is my favorite preservation event of the year. It’s a great opportunity to connect with colleagues around the country and I have always returned feeling energized and inspired. I can’t wait for Philadelphia!”
