September 24: Focus on advocacy and lobbying in partnership with the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Preservation Action.

September 25: Programming conceived by National Preservation Partners Network members and led by leaders from across the field, including sessions on hot topics in preservation law, local advocacy programs, annual giving campaigns, affordable housing, and more.

Directions and Parking Information

Thursday evening’s joint reception with the NPPN Fall Convening and the National Trust’s National Preservation Summit will take place on Capitol Hill.

The Preservation Action Foundation Auction (tickets purchased separately) on Wednesday, September 23, will take place at the National Cathedral. NPPN members can receive $15 off of ticket prices using promo code PRESPARTNER.

Accommodations

Attendees are responsible for their accommodations. There is not an official hotel associated with the event. The venue is easy walking distance from the Metro Center and Chinatown/Gallery Place stops on the DC Metro, accessible by all Metro lines. Paid off-street parking is available at the venue.


2026 Fall Convening Schedule

Thursday – September 24

Check-in at the National Trust Office before proceeding to the Capitol.

Evening Reception will take place at the Capitol Building.

Friday – September 25

Friday events will take place at First Congregational UCC, 945 G St. NW on the 2nd Floor
